The Space
OUR STORY
The owner, a doctor from Minas Gerais, fell in love with a woman from São Paulo who holds a degree in hospitality management from Switzerland. They love to travel and were so enchanted by Caraíva that they chose to get married here.
The décor incorporates references to the various countries they have visited, alongside cherished family pieces. The result is a space that evokes the warm, familiar feeling of a true home. Welcome to your home away from home—welcome to Nossa Villa.

THE LOCATION
Nossa Villa enjoys a prime location in Caraíva, just 100 meters from the beach in one of the most popular spots along the waterfront. It is situated on the same street as Pousada Hayo (100m away/Manga Rosa) and 150 meters from Vila do Mar. It lies 300 meters from the "Igrejinha" (Little Church) square—home to various restaurants and bars—and 400 meters from the riverbank, where the canoes arrive and the *forró* dance venues are located. It offers the perfect balance of easy access and a peaceful atmosphere, away from the noise of the nightlife.

THE SPACE
The villa features 320 m² of built area, divided between the main house and the bungalows.

The main house caters to discerning guests seeking privacy and exceptional comfort. It features two suites: one on the upper floor and one on the lower floor. A highlight is the spacious, airy master suite on the upper floor (85 m²), which includes an outdoor area with a private pool (see full details in the photos for Bedroom and Bathroom 01). The downstairs suite features an outdoor area with a hammock and a table with two chairs—perfect for those who need to work remotely (full description under Bedroom and Bathroom 02).

The ground floor of the main house features reclaimed wood flooring, an indoor garden, a powder room, a living room with a reclining sofa, a fully equipped open-concept kitchen, and a charming six-seater dining table (full description under Living Room and Kitchen 01).

The two bungalows have private entrances and direct access via the pool deck, garden, and outdoor gourmet area. Each includes a suite and a private rooftop lounge with sofas—ideal for pleasant conversations and stargazing under the Caraíva night sky (full description under Bedroom and Bathroom 03/04).

The generator is there to minimize the inconvenience of frequent power outages that can occur in the village during peak season and rainy periods.

As the quality of tap water in Caraíva is generally poor, the house features a modern filtration system to ensure cleaner water for taps, showers, and the pool.

The property utilizes a solar power system, reflecting a commitment to planetary sustainability.

Guest access
Caraíva is a small village with no car access. Getting around is done entirely on foot or via horse-drawn carts (used only for luggage). If you arrive by car, you will need to leave it at a parking lot on the other side of the river. All parking lots at the river crossing are safe and reliable.

Caraíva is a remote location.
